ready for prime time

id_sale.gifMy new exclusive at 347 East 53rd Street has been freshly painted for it's next owner. I had photographer Mike Tauber stop by for a shoot on Wednesday. The new photos of the living/dining rooms show off the excellent light and generous proportions of this Sutton area home. Get all the details and stop by this Sunday for our open house from 1 to 3 PM to see it for yourself.

coney island next?

cbsvideo2.jpgAs a follow up to two recent posts, you may be interested in watching this NYT Real Estate Report from WCBS local news and The New York Times. Editor Bill Goss discusses Christine Haughney's "Changing Course to Avert a Glut" piece; and the re-development of Coney Island, an area ripe with waterfront possibilities, and part of my backyard near where I grew up in Sheepshead Bay.

happy (square) feet

id_sale.gifI'm pleased to announce my first exclusive at 347 East 53rd Street, between First and Second Avenues in the Sutton area. Apartment 7B is a very generiously sized junior four, that could easily be converted into a 2 bedroom. We've priced it to sell fast at only $565,000! It is aproximately 900 square feet, which means a price per square foot of under $630 and that's sure to make you very happy indeed! Along with a maintenance of $988 per month it is one of the best values on the Upper East Side today. I'll begin showing it this Sunday, December 3rd at the first open house from 1 to 3 pm, please stop by.

thanksgiving for the memories

Mom's househeadroomI insisted that my three siblings and their families have Thanksgiving at our Mom's house this year. It will be our last one at this humble little home. Like many seniors she decided that downsizing into a new condo made sense, I was supportive of her doing it too. For my five year old, grandma's house will become a distant memory of childhood. She insisted on sleeping over there the night before to help with the turkey (we got the night off). That's the stuff that makes any home priceless.
